"The kitchen is a country in which there are always discoveries to be made,"
When I was little we used to play with these tiny Japanese Maple "helicopters" and watch then twirl to the ground. This organic necklace by twigs and heather instantly brought all of those memories back. You can see more of their breathtaking work here. All of it is nature inspired and is beautifully caste in the shape of twigs, shells, acorns and seeds.
This is another old family recipe that comes from our tiny hand written cookbook. They are delicious as dessert or with tea. We normally make these as part of our holiday baking. Feel free to use pre-made tart shells.
Are there any words that you overuse or at least use a lot? For me its love. A friend dose something that is just too funny and I tell them that I love them. I adore a piece of clothing or decor and I say that I love it. A great song comes on the radio and I love that too. So I'm interested, what words do you use a lot? Did you notice it yourself or did someone point it out? Do you try to avoid that word now or do you continue to keep it on heavy rotation?

This house belongs to Camilla Lindemann, the PR director for IKEA in Norway. I love her style and the way that her IKEA furniture mixes so seamlessly with everything else in her home. Not to mention the fact that its all white!! You can see more on her home here. Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardship as the
pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this
sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make
all things right if I
surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy
in this life, and supremely
happy with Him forever in
the next.
Amen
